Since qualifying as a solicitor in 1999 I have worked exclusively in the area of employment law and I am a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association. I have frequently been commended by my clients for being clear, concise, practical and solution focused whilst at the same time being empathetic and supportive.
Although I have expertise in all areas of employment law, whether that be in relation to contentious matters or simply advising or drafting, I have a real passion for dispute resolution and my background in psychology, which I studied at university before converting to law, helps me in this area.
I am a tough negotiator and (I am told) a fearsome litigator. However, whether I am representing individuals or companies in litigation or just providing advice or reviewing/drafting a contract or handbook, I will always have my client’s desired outcome at the forefront of my mind. Client care and excellent service are my top priorities. In my opinion, every client should feel like my only client and, so far, I believe I have achieved this objective.
