You may wish to leave your place of work because of the way you believe you have been treated. Rather than resign and try to claim constructive dismissal (which is notoriously difficult to do as you first have to show your employer committed a fundamental breach of contract and then that you resigned in a timely manner in response to that breach), speak to us and we may be able to help you leave with a financial package. Whilst this is not guaranteed, we have many years’ experience of helping people leave an unhappy and distressing workplace without fear of facing financial difficulties.
This normally (but doesn’t always) involve us helping you to draft a formal grievance and then assisting you with approaching your employer on a “without prejudice” basis to discuss an exit as an alternative to going through the full grievance investigation and hearing. Sometimes employers wish to complete the grievance process before even considering an exit package, but that is not always the case. Our lawyers can discuss all options with you as well as the risks/benefits of each approach and you will be in control throughout.
We are here to guide and help you through what is always a very distressing time and we understand that ending an employment relationship can be like ending a marriage and we are here to be your support throughout.
